Daritdol Observatory opened August 17 at Cheongsapo in Haeundae, Busan. The observatory stretches out over the ocean for a thrilling skywalk that is also perfect for taking in the sunrise and sunset along the coast.

Daritdol Observatory is located at the halfway-point between Mipo Port in Haeundae and Songjeong along the closed Donghaenambu train line. The observatory continues for 72.5 meters at 20 meters above the sea below. It is the third ocean observatory in Busan, following Oryukdo Skywalk (15m-length) and Songdo Skywalk (104m-length).

The entire skywalk is designed with the motif of a blue dragon that came down to protect the village of Cheongsapo. The observatory features a half-moon shaped glass floor for an exciting look at the ocean. Daritdol Observatory gets its name from the five submerged rocks seen from the observatory. Other views include the beautiful coastal scene of Cheonsapo and the serene sunrise and sunset over the ocean.

Tourists riding on the Busan City Tour Bus can easily visit the observatory by getting off at Cheongsapo Bus Stop. Enjoy an exciting experience of walking on water during your next trip to Haeundae!
