อสท.เกาหลี เปิดตัวแอพพลิเคชั่นใหม่ “เดินเที่ยวโซล” ผ่านระบบ แอพสโตร์ และ เพลย์สโตร์ แอพพลิเคชั่นนี้ สามารถแนะนำ สถานที่ท่อเงที่ยวทั้งหมด 16 แห่งด้วยกันในย่านใจกลางกรุงโซล อาทิเช่น ย่าน ชองเกชอน จองโน และควางฮวามุน
แอพพลิเคชั่น มี ทั้งหมด 3 ภาษา อังกฤษ ญี่ปุ่น และ จีน นอกเหนือจากนี้ แอพพลิเคชั่น ยังมีการทำงานระบบ จีพีเอส ซึ่งนักท่องเที่ยวแม้จะเดินทางในครั้งแรก ก็สามารถค้นหาตำแหน่ง สถานที่ท่องเที่ยวในโซลได้อย่างง่ายดาย และยังสามารถดูข้อมูลได้ โดยไม่ต้องไม้ต้องใช้ Wi-Fi เพียงดาวน์โหลดเนื้อหาเก็บไว้ ก่อนการเดินทางเท่านั้น

เทศกาลโคมบัว ซึ่งจัดขึ้นเพื่อเฉลิมฉลองวันวิสาขบูชา หรือ วันประสูติของพระพุทธเจ้า ที่ได้สืบทอดมา ตั้งแต่สมัยไตรอาณาจักรของเกาหลีเมื่อสองพันกว่าปีก่อน และได้จัดต่อเนื่องกันมาทุกปีในใจกลางกรุงโซล โดยในปีนี้ จะจัดขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 10-12 พฤษภาคม 2556
ในช่วงเทศกาล จะมีการห้อยโคมไฟดอกบัวหลากสีสัน พร้อมการจัดเทศกาลรื่นเริงทั่วประเทศ ตั้งแต่ในพระราชวัง ไปจนถึงหมู่บ้านเล็ก ๆ จุดเด่น หรือ ไฮไล้ท์ ของงาน คือ ขบวนพาเหรดโคมไฟ ในใจกลางกรุงโซล ซึ่งในปีนี้ ตรงกับวันเสาร์ที่ 11 พฤษภาคม 2556 (เวลา 19.00-21.30 น.) ขบวนพาเหรดเริ่มต้นที่ทงแดมุน ถึงวัดโชเกซา โดยในทุกๆปี จะมีพุทธศาสนิกชนชาวเกาหลี ชาวต่างชาติและประชาชนทั่วไป ตลอดจนนักท่องเที่ยว มาร่วม ในงานนี้ทุกปี กว่า 7 แสนคน
เทศกาลโคมบัวจะมีการประดับโคมไฟ ในรูปแบบต่าง ๆ ไม่ว่าจะเป็น สัตว์ต่าง ๆ เช่น มังกร เสือ หรือ ช้าง ซึ่งเกี่ยวข้องกับ พุทธศาสนา นอกจากนี้ในงานยังมีกิจกรรมอื่นๆ อาทิเช่น การทำโคมบัวด้วยตัวเองเพื่อร่วมขบวนและการแสดงพื้นเมืองต่างๆ

The judges for the International Competition section of the 14th Jeonju International Film Festival have been confirmed. The jury, composed of master directors, a star actor, and a noted scholar, is set to review this year’s entries that will open the door to cinematic aesthetics of the 21st century.

Directors, actors, and key figures in cinema come together in Jeonju!

The jury consists of 5 iconic figures in cinema world. Darezhan OMIRBAYEV, leading figure of Kazakhstan cinema will be serving as the head of the jury for the International Competition section of this year. Along with him, Don FREDERICKSEN, a professor of film at Cornell University, Santosh SIVAN, a respected director of Indian cinema, RYOO Seung-wan, a noted genre-master represent Korea contemporary, and JUNG Woo-sung, an icon of youth make a perfect circle for this year’s JIFF.

Darezhan OMIRBAYEV / Head of the Jury / Director / Kazakhstan

Darezhan OMIRBAYEV receives the spotlight at various film festivals every time he releases a new film and has become a key figure in modern cinema for his portrayal of the unique aesthetics and rhythm of life in Central Asia, despite the relatively harsh working conditions of Kazakhstan’s movie industry. He began to receive international acclaim after receiving the Silver Leopard and the Fipresci Award at the Locarno Film Festival for his feature debut, Kairat, in 1995. His second film, Kardiogramma, was invited to the Cannes Film Festival in 1995 and then received the UNESCO Award at the Venice Film Festival. He developed a relationship with Jeonju when he participated in Talk to Her, the 2006 Jeonju Digital Project, along with Eric Khoo and Pen-Ek Ratanaruang

Don FREDERICKSEN / Professor / U. S. A.

Don FREDERICKSEN is a Senior Professor at the department of Theater, Film, and Dance at Cornell University in the U. S. He has taught classes on criticism, analysis, theory and history of cinema, and is especially well known as an expert on experimental films, documentaries, and modern European art films. He has written various books related to film and has served on the jury for the Krakow Film Festival in Poland and the Plus Camerimage(The International Film Festival of the Art of Cinematography). He is currently the chairman of the International Association for Jungian Studies and is active in a wide range of fields that include giving lectures about film and the environment, and psychology in various countries in Europe as well as working as a psychotherapist.

Santosh SIVAN / Director / India

Santosh SIVAN is an acclaimed director in India who is known for his lyrical cinematography and unique way of directing. Upon graduating from the Film and Television Institute of India, he gained recognition for his cinematography in Bollywood films like Dil Se, Bride and Prejudice, and Raavan. He directed The Terrorist and Malli, which were received favorably both in India and abroad, earning him the title of ‘new master’ at the 2000 Seattle Film Festival. He visited Korea when Navarasa, Before the Rains, and Tahaan were screened at the Busan International Film Festival and this will be the first time he comes to Jeonju as he serves on the jury for the Jeonju International Film Festival.

RYOO Seung-wan / Director / Korea

After making a legendary feature debut with Die Bad in 2000, director RYOO Seung-wan was named ‘the Cine Kid of Chungmuro’ and established a distinct cinematic outlook. He continued to take on new challenges with films such as Arahan, Crying Fist, and The City of Violence, and became acknowledged as both commercially successful and critically acclaimed director with The Unjust, which received rave reviews from critics and the public alike in 2010. His recently released film, The Berlin File, has been stated as having opened the doors to new possibilities for spy movies in Korea. RYOO Seung-wan has a special relationship with Jeonju as his first film Die Bad was screened at the first Jeonju International Film Festival, which was followed by If You Were Me 2, Dachimawa Lee, and The Unjust in later years.

JUNG Woo-sung / Actor / Korea

JUNG Woo-sung is a veteran Korean actor with 22 years of experience. He debuted with The Fox with Nine Tails in 1994 and then firmly imprinted himself in the minds of the public with his performance in City of the Rising Sun. He established himself as an international actor through Reign of Assassins, which was invited to the 67th Venice Film Festival. In addition to acting, he has been expanding his scope by directing music videos and commercials. He also served on the jury for the New Currents section at last year’s Busan International Film Festival.

The International Competition section of the Jeonju International Film Festival is open to new directors from around the world who present new possibilities for cinematic aesthetics and screens feature length films and documentaries. Dynamic of this year’s juries makes it even more exciting to see what new values of what film they will choose to award during the 9 days of the film festival to be held from April 25th(Thursday) to May 3rd(Friday).

อาทิตย์ 14 เม.ย.นี้  โดนัทบินตรงเป็นพิธีกรของงาน

                เมืองอันซาน จังหวัดเคียงคีโด อยู่ตอนใต้ของกรุงโซลประมาณ 1 ช.ม.โดยรถยนต์ ร่วมกับ กระทรวงแรงงานของไทย โดยสำนักงานแรงงานไทยประจำกรุงโซล จัดงานฉลองปีใหม่ไทย หรือ เทศกาลสงกรานต์ ไทย-เกาหลี 2556 ณ สวนสนุก อันซาน ฮวารัง ในวันอาทิตย์ที่ 14 เมษายน 2556 ตั้งแต่ 9.00 น.-18.00 น.

สำหรับงานดังกล่าวจะมี โดนัท มนัสนันท์ พันเลิศวงสกุล และ หยวน นิธิชัย ยศอมรสุนทร เป็นพิธีกรใมนงาน ซึ่งจะมีพิธีทำบุญตักบาตร สรงน้ำพระ รดน้ำดำหัว ขบวนพาเหรด การแสดงพื้นเมืองที่บินตรงจากประเทศไทย คอนเสิร์ต กีฬาเซปัคตะกร้อ และการประกวดเทพีสงกรานต์ไทย-เกาหลี  นอกจากนี้ ร้านอาหารไทยในเกาหลี ยังมาแนะนำอาหารไทยในราคาพิเศษแก่ผู้ร่วมงานทั้งไทย และเกาหลี

นายคิม ชอล มิน นายกเทศมนตรีเมืองอันซานกล่าวว่า “เมืองอันซานร่วมเป็นเจ้าภาพจัดงานสงกรานต์มาตั้งแต่ปี 2550 ทั้งนี้เพื่อช่วยบรรเทาอาการคิดถึงบ้านของคนงานไทยในเกาหลีโดยเฉพาะในย่านศูนย์กลางอุตสาหกรรม อันซาน สมาร์ท ฮับ และช่วยให้ประชาชนทั่วไปได้เห็นความสำคัญของวัฒนธรรมและประเพณีไทย ซึ่งตนหวังว่า เทศกาลสงกรานต์ไทย-เกาหลี ในปีนี้จะช่วยเสริมสร้างบรรยากาศอันเต็มไปด้วยความสุขสนุกสนาน และความเข้าใจอันดีในวัฒนธรรมของไทย และเป็นศูนย์รวมสร้างความประสานกลมกลืนระหว่างสองประเทศ

ขณะเดียวกัน ทางสถานเอกอัคราชทูตไทยในกรุงโซล ได้กล่าวย้ำในเฟซบุ๊คของสถานทูตฯ เกี่ยวกับผู้ที่เป็นห่วงในสถานการณ์ในคาบสมุทรเกาหลีว่า “คนเกาหลีใต้ยังใช้ชีวิตและทำมาหากินกันตามปกติ ไม่มีการตื่นตระหนก อาทิ ไม่ได้หาซื้อเสบียงอาหารมาสำรองไว้ ดังที่เคยทำมาในอดีต…….หรือจนขณะนี้ สถานทูต 103 แห่งในกรุงโซล ยังไม่มีการประกาศอพยพคนของตน หรือแจ้งห้ามคนชาติของตนเดินทางไปเกาหลีใต้…”

2.การดำเนินธุรกิจในเกาหลีใต้ ยังอยู่ในสภาวะปกติ โดยในวันที่ 1 เมษายน 2556 ตลาดหุ้นเกาหลีใต้มีมูลค่าการซื้อขายลดลงเพียง 0.44 จุด ซึ่งเป็นผลจากสถานการณ์เศรษฐกิจของโลก มิใช่ผลจากเหตุการณ์บนคาบสมุทรเกาหลี
3.ชาวเกาหลีใต้ยังใช้ชีวิตอย่างปกติสุข มิได้มีความตื่นตระหนกแต่ประการใด
4.สายการบินพาณิชย์ทุกสาย และบริษัทท่องเที่ยวทุกแห่งตามรายงาน เดินทางสู่ประเทศเกาหลีตามกำหนดการ โดยไม่มีการยกเลิกแต่ประการใด

“Information for Thai Commmunity Regarding the Current Situation in Korean Peninsular”

The Royal Thai Embassy in Seoul would like to provide the following information for Thai Community and Thai people who are concerned about the current situation in the Republic of Korea.
1. At present, the Government of the Republic of Korea has not issued any warning or raised the alert level in any form;
2. All businesses in the country are conducted with normality, with the Korean stock market closing down at 0.44 percentage points, mainly due to the global economic concerns, not the situation on the Korean peninsula;
3. The Korean public are conducting their daily businesses without any panic and life goes on as usual;
4. All commercial flights and tours are reportedly traveling to Korea as scheduled with no cancellations;
5. Like many other diplomatic missions in Seoul, Royal Thai Embassy views the situation as not a basis for panic or concern at this present stage

เทศกาลผีเสื้อฮัมเพียง จัดขึ้นเป็นประจำทุกปีที่อุทยานริมน้ำฮัมเพียง ในเมืองฮัมเพียง จังหวัดชลลานัมโด ปีนี้ จัดขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 26 เมษายน ถึงวันที่ 8 พฤษภาคม ในงานนี้นักท่องเที่ยวจะได้มีโอกาสได้ใกล้ชิดกับระบบนิเวศวิทยา รวมถึงสัมผัสกับความอัศจรรย์ของธรรมชาติ ที่รวมรวยผีเสื้อและแมลงนับหมื่นๆ ตัว มาบินให้นักท่องเที่ยวได้ชม ในบริเวณพื้นที่ถึง 33 ล้านตารางเมตร
